What will your Savings be?
Unless you are a die hard tree hugger, this would all be pointless unless
you see some actual savings . Luckily, over time you will see substantial savings. As with
any new hobby, your start up costs will be high. First you need the car. If you already have one, great! Then you need
the Diesel Secret start up kit and your containers. So all in all, if you pick up the car for
say $3500 plus another $100 for your Diesel Secret and containers, that's $3600. So how
long will it take for this investment to pay for itself? Suppose that once you get started, your cost per gallon is $1.50 average both summer and winter
. Suppose you use around 15 gallons a week. Then for the entire year that is around 780 gallons a year. Now with gas at $4, then your anual savings are about $2000. So
if you had to buy the car, then it would only take 1.5 years to pay for itself and all your other expenses. Sure beats the hell out of buying a stupid Hybrid for $30k! If you already have a car
and only buy the Diesel Secret stuff and some containers, then it would pay for itself in just 3 weeks. Take a long vacation or do some home
improvements with the 1900 bucks you will be saving each year! The only problem I forsee is as this gains more and more popularity, the restaurants will start to get wise and start charging for their oil.
Will this happen? Not any time soon, there just isn't a whole lot of diesels out there and most people aren't going to be making their own
biodiesel. So for know I think the free veggie oil is safe.
